"DELAY NO MORE"
This piece was inspired by my experience of the fast paced city of Hong Kong. Using a combination of acrylic paint, soft pastel and spray paint I create my own interpretation of the bright lights and fast pace of urban life, with a saying from my home town in street art style.

Here, I was inspired by an artist called Deladeso to use a combination of acrylic paint on top of images I shot myself, to create pieces which I think symbolise teenage naivety.
This piece is a study of oriental imagery painted with acrylic layered on top of tissue paper to create an elevated texture. The koi and red lanterns represent typical icons, symbols with deep meaning and history in Chinese culture which is something I grew up around.
One of the places I have travelled to was Cambodia, which became the main influence behind this piece as when I visited, I explored the temples and being able to observe the artefacts and statues is what became my inspiration.
This piece was made with watercolour, screen printing, acrylic paint and a small lead drawing.
This piece is quite personal as It represents my cultural background as a Filipino. The idea behind this is based on my personal feelings towards Rodrigo Duterte, the current president of the Philippines, and what he stands for.
The mediums used in this piece are acrylic paint, oil transfer based off of my own painting, tape transfer, background collaging and an enlarged photocopy of my own sketch of Jesus.
